If you can find the food on your plate, it's actually very good... HOWEVER, unless you're anorexic, you will leave hungry. Fortunately there's a Burger King across the street where I went afterwards to get a fishburger. A sign welcomes you at the door proclaiming 60+ years in business. You'd figure that by now someone would realise that tartar sauce should be served with each order, but not here. No tartar sauce means NO TIP! Do yourself a favour and drive 3 more blocks west to Queensway f & c and get properly fed for 20% less. BIG disappopintment.

Best Fish and Chips ever! We've been going to Viking every week as loyal customers for years. The fish is light and crispy, always fresh and wonderful. The chips are authentic English style! These are the 'real deal'. If you are looking for a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, fish as fresh as caught that same morning, go to Vinking Fish and Chips. Each piece of halibut is cooked to order along with the chips which are served to your table with a smile. I also like the Take-Out order, which allows me to stop on my way home from work to share with my family . This has been a family favorite for years. We were there last Friday ... even on a busy Friday night you can always count on the same friendly service and super food. Fish and Chips is their specialty and what has been bringing in the customers for years.

Worst food I ever had in a restaurant. Everything tasted stale and smelt bad. Garlic chicken tasted like freezer-burn breaded chicken soaked three days in garlic sauce. They even wrecked onion rings and french fries. The pop tasked like mold. No way was it worth $17.60. Why are they still open?

Had halibut, chips and coleslaw. Everything was excellent. Ate the coleslaw first, it was so good. The fish was lightly battered and very delicious. Generous portion of fries. A friendly atmosphere. A great choice for fish and chips.

Always great fish and chips, the coleslaw is excellent and almost as good as fish and chips in the UK. Basic decor, but very clean. Very friendly owners, always greeted with a smile.

Been going to Viking for years. Always fresh, always friendly. The fish is not in a heavy batter, for a light delicious flavour. Chips are fresh cut and yummy. Traditional fish and chip place that is impossible not to enjoy.

The food here is delicious and the portions are very generous. They serve old fashioned fish & chips. They dunk the fish in the batter right before they drop it into the fryer. You can watch them do it from the cash counter when you pay your bill. This place is a very popular neighbourhood spot. People line up for the take-out but you if you want to eat in, you can usually get a table without waiting.
