Great vibe and experience at The Hair Company would highly recommend!

I usually do not write reviews, but I felt the need to for my experience with this salon (The Hair Company). My appointment was with a Senior stylist, in fact the manager/owner of the salon. It was for a wash/blow dry only. The water pressure at the sink was poor, shampoo/conditioner was barely applied or massaged into my hair, and the actual blow-out was the WORST I’ve ever had at any salon! The stylist did not know what she was doing. Complete waste of money. Salon NOT RECOMMENDED.

HORRIBLE, SAD AND PAINFUL VISIT My hair is a mess, I will not pay to get it fixed. I hope when it grows all out I will be able to give a fair chance to another Salon to get it fixed. I was hoping to be happy and find the one in your salon today. But this was not the case. To others considering this Salon. DO NOT GO With a Student as this was the overall message. Get a JR OR SR Stylists as on the reviews left here is the ONLY right way to avoid Hair BREAK :(

I stopped coming here after discovering a mysterious $2 fee had been added to my bill for at least a year! When I inquired about it my stylist became flustered and then a few days later fired me as a customer! I think this salon has become a bit too pretentious!

Modern and Professional without being Pretentious!

This salon is located in the heart of old downtown newmarket and is modernly decorated with beautiful light fixtures, hardwood floors and a classy elegance while keeping the classic look of the building's exterior. After many horrible past salon experiences this was a breathe of fresh air. The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming and the atmosphere extremely comfortable. Everyone was very mature and professional and were obviously current with the hair trends of 2010. I have never been happier with my hair and will be a loyal customer for cut and colour starting today!
