Spring Break Camps
at The Confluence
A five-day spring break camp in Calgary offered March 24-28 and April 21-25.
WHERE STORIES
COME TOGETHER
Like the Bow and Elbow rivers that meet here, so do countless stories. Some are as old as time. Some are forever intertwined.
The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland is a destination for locals to find a sense of identity and connection to the land they live on, and where tourists can learn the stories and cultures of this special place.
Notice of Cultural Centre Disruptions
On Monday, Dec. 2, The Confluence began demolition and construction for new exhibit Ki’pait’apiiyssinnooni (Our Way of Life). Approximately one-third of the cultural centre will be inaccessible while construction is in progress. Limited cultural centre access is scheduled to continue until the exhibit opens in spring 2025.
The 1888 Replica Barracks will continue to be accessible for private events and to view temporary exhibits. During this time, our staff will be available to answer questions about the new exhibit and discuss the process of updating and refreshing exhibits in museums. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding during this transitional time.

New and Temporary Exhibits
Halo Halo
On display until July 27
Location: Cultural Centre
Halo Halo, “mixed” in Tagalog, is a multimedia showcase that delves into the intricate ways migration shapes the identities of first-generation Filipinos in Canada. Through creative storytelling, animation, and both digital and traditional visual arts like printmaking, Halo Halo works to capture the journey of adaptation and belonging.
