The Beaches is a destination for many in the spring, summer or fall. Whether it’s playing with the kids in the sand, strolling with your honey on the boardwalk, competing in a game of beach volleyball or just shopping along Queen Street East, chances are you’ll be feeling a bit peckish at some point. Green Eggplant is the best place to go if your appetite is huge. This restaurant serves up classic menu items, such as filet mignon and chicken shish kebob in portion sizes that would likely put many American restaurants to shame. They serve consistently high quality food, too.

ViVetha Bistro has been a go-to restaurant in the Beaches for almost 10 years now, both for delicious Italian dinners and for their yummy brunch. They have an extensive list of pastas, and their French toast is heavenly.

Yumei Sushi is the place to go in the Beaches for Japanese. Owner and chef Young Lee has been making sushi for 35 years, and folks love his food. The space is small, but the service is great, and so is the food.
