Yikes today is April 16th 2025, and Wow!! we had Robert (another ROB) over to our home to discuss our options for a new furnace. What a professional, concise, friendly, courteous, sales person. He answered all of our questions, gave us complete information, took his time to explain what was going on with our old Geothermal furnace, and all of the options, that we needed to know. We needed to replace our HRV and raise the HRV ductwork before the new ceiling in our basement could be installed. Peete and Ryan of Simcoe Muskoka Home Comfort in Orillia installed the HRV and did a great job raising the ductwork. They were very knowledgeable, personable and professional, and provided great info about how the HRV, furnace and furnace humidifier worked together. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company and will be using them only for future home heating and cooling work.

We smelled gas when our Raypak gas boiler cycled on. Fortis found 500 ppm carbon monoxide reading and unburned gas so turned off boiler. Repair company believed that it was a problem with the manifold but our plumber felt it might be the gas jets needing cleaning. We called Boilers and Beyond for a second opinion before authorizing purchase of a new boiler. Rahim answered immediately, came on w/e, identified three separate problems & fixed them all. Genius! Awesome response. Hire him!

Every experience I had from Modern Power Vac was a great one. When I first called into the office to make the appointment, the woman I talked to on the phone was very informative and answered all the questions I had adequately. When the technician showed up at my home, he was also very informative. He explained what the total cost would be and how the cleaning would be done prior to me committing to anything. He then took a good couple of hours to complete the whole home duct cleaning.
I called Modern Power Vac because I had completed some renos in my home and now after the cleaning has been completed, there is no residual dust at all! I will be definitely calling them in the future, not just after completing renos!

Amazing tradespeople!! In a day and age when you really do not know who is coming into your home to fix something, you want to be absolutely sure about their integrity and competency. The fine folks at Sure Heating are ALL THAT and so much more! They went above and beyond sorting out our ongoing issue with an aging Polaris hot water boiler. When it was finally clear the problem was unfixable, they replaced the specialized boiler at a very fair price. Do yourself a favour and call them first!

I am semi-bedridden and hard to get around, this wonderful company was out and took such good care of me. The gentleman that came was so quick and so courteous, the owner Dan was wonderful and so helpful in Helping me . They are really great, I can’t say enough about them.
Have had them for a new job and excellent service and so. Courteous , I can’t say enough about this company. A lot of businesses today treat their customers terribly not this company I can’t thank them enough .
