This is a hidden gem over near the airport on Matheson. A friend of mine works in the area and he suggested it for a Saturday night dinner. We had a great time as the food was hot, fresh, and tasted great, plus the service was very professional. My husband and I drive from Pickering to have dinner here and it's always worth the drive! The ambience, service and food are all amazing! My favourite dish is the Arctic Char - it's so good that even my husband ordered it once (he's not one to order fish for dinner). He's stated that the lamb is the best he's ever had. We’ve been going to this restaurant for years. The quality and quality of the food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. It is a family oriented restaurant where kids are welcome which is nice. And this from a senior senior. And the owner is environmentally aware, and has made changes to reduce the use of plastic before many others; and is respectful of his staff and so closes every year over the holiday period so staff can be with their family.
