I dont understand the previous negative reviews...? I have been going here for years and the food has been always good. I have never received bad service. The service is average but never bad. Everything is fresh and tasty. Our favourites are Dynamite roll, Volcano Roll, Bonsai Roll to name a few.. Don't listen to the previous negative reviews - makes no sense why they are complaining! Let me start off by first saying the portions are generous and the food is delicious (especially the general tao chicken which is the perfect amount of spicy and sweet). The service was great and made sure we were enjoying our meal. As a resident of Aurora, I (like the previous reviewer) used to need to go south to either Richmond Hill or Markham before I get a taste of authentic Chinese food but now that I have discovered a local gem I am highly impressed. I was disappointed to read the previous reviews on this page because the restaurant deserves so much more. The food is always so fresh, colourful and delicious. In terms of price and quality it can't be beat. i suggest you try it for yourself. It is one of my absolute favourite restaurants. They don't seem to have a lot of cutomers which is a huge mystery to me. Honestly, you will not be disappointed unless you are a highly critical person. Lire plus

Mei Ling has been around since we moved to Aurora 26 years ago and the food is always consistent (Great) their Chilli Squid is one of their specialty and it is to die for. Mei Ling is our only choice my family loves it. The people who own it are wonderful too always polite curtious and always making sure that their customers are happy. Nothing negative only wish that the seating area was a little bigger. Again cannot say enough about Mei Ling except that it is worth a try. Lire plus

Haven't been here for a while and was pleasantly surprised to find that they have redecorated. Replaced a number of tables with booths and that makes it much nicer inside. Food is great. Lots of variety. Excellent prices. The one thing about this place that annoys me is that they never bring your bill to the table -- I always have to go to the cash to find out how much the bill is and pay. This Mandarin is still pretty new and clean inside so that is definately a big plus if cleaniness is important to you. The food selection is pretty good and some dishes are actually pretty good. The people who run this restaurant are always so friendly! To top that off, the food is great. I really enjoy their palak paneer especially. They're also great with accomodating tastes. I like my food spicy, while my other family members are not so keen on it. When I order spice levels all over the map, it's never screwed up. Always perfect for each person. Honestly...the service may be kinda bad...and they may get quite a bit wrong...but its the only sushi in town that I will eat. The food is amazing quality (when you get it). I absolutely love it. I go quite often, and I tell people to go there. Yes, they need to amp up the service...but compared to how great the food is, the service is not really that important lol :) Lire plus

We usually do take outs on weekends but went their for lunch on weekday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It didn't look big buffet but wow had lots of varieties to eat and especially fresh nan and tandoori chicken. Not big on Indian desserts too sweet for me.
