    Great job, we're really pleased

    We needed a fence built in a hurry and BlackRock did an excellent job for us, coming over immediately to measure & do up an estimate (on a Saturday!) We had the quote by that night, instructions on who to call for line locates and work started immediately after the locates were done. The job was done incredibly fast and in a professional and courteous manner. Ryan is great, very informative and helpful, making sure the best job is done and the work is suited to you. He asked questions about what we wanted and made sure we were happy about any decisions made. I would highly recommend BlackRock Construction & Renovations. The Bell family

    Job well done

    After trying to contact and hire a reno contractor, I finally came across Ryan and Blackrock. He was the first to actually answer my voice mail. We had Ryan do a complete reno on our basement and the end result was excellent. There were two items that I was surprised about: one was the high standard of work that Ryan has and the high standards expected of his contractors. I am very happy to say that every contractor that came into our house was exceedingly professional and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Blackrock Construction if you are looking for excellent work.

    I recently moved to Airdire and the house I purchased needed a bathroom in the basement to be finished as well as a set of stairs and new railings coming off the back deck in order to gain access to the yard. Being new to the area I had no idea who to call to get the job done, and on top of it all I had a short time frame for completion. Lucky for me I found Ryan and after our first meeting I knew he would be a good guy to work with. Ryan not only got all the work done in my short time frame, but he made sure the work done was to excellent quality. He was on top of everything and I didn't have to worry about a thing. His crew were all wonderful and very friendly, which is a nice bonus when they are spending so much time in your home. All in all I deffinetly lucked out in finding Ryan to get my projects done, everything looks amazing and I didn't get stressed out once:) Thanks Ryan!!!

    My new Azek deck

    I recently got a new Azek deck built by Blackrock. We had a few quotes from other contractors but decided to go with Blackrock since he gave us the most reasonable quote. I was a little nervous at the beginning, wondering why the quote is lower compared to others, but still decided to go ahead since the price difference was quite big with the Azek material we wanted. However, my worries were quickly gone as soon as we saw the base of the deck built. Already, we saw he did a great job and that you could see the craftsmanship and experience in his work. My neighbour even complimented and this was just the beginning stage! Although we had a delay in getting our deck built (due to shipment discrepancies and not Blackrock's fault at all), he constantly updated us regarding the schedule. I am a perfectionist and very detail oriented, so throughout the process, I asked many questions via phone calls and emails, and they were all responded to. When our deck was near the completion stage, he made sure that everything looked right, he, himself is a perfectionist. Some of the railings were a little tilted so he made the railing guys come back to fix it straight. This shows, that he is not one of those contractor type that "just gets the job done and leaves". He takes pride in his work and it shows. EVERYONE who has come over to check out our new deck, says it looks GREAT!(check out the grey deck with glass railings and red patio set on Blackrock's website) I will definitely recommend Blackrock to my family and friends and also look at them when I get my basement developed. LOVE my new deck, thanks Blackrock!!!
