Urban Pets

Took my dog to be groomed st urban pet. Loved it the first time. Now they have a new groomer who doesn't speak the greatest English and hard to understand she's very abrupted. My dog is terrified to go there now. Second time there she shaved her face and kegs so close she had red spots and was a bit swollen. This last time my dog was not happy going and the groomer missed half of her leg. She left long pieces on some and longer in the other. I won't be going back and not impressed!

My dog has major allergies and after talking to the manager and owner I was suggested to put my dog onto the kangaroo kibble that they sell. His skin has cleared right up and he loves it! Plus they also carry kangaroo treats so he can finally have cookies again. The groomer Tatiana has done nothing but an amazing job on my dog and is really good with him as well. I have only ever had positive experiences here and always leave smiling.

Last weekend I took my tiny, healthy, 5 lb. dog to be groomed at Urban Pets new location on 88th Ave. in Langley, BC. The groomer took it upon herself to pop an abscess she discovered on my dog's leg without my permission, telling me after the fact and dousing it in Hydrogen Peroxide. Appalled was the Vet. My 2 1/2 year old dog fell very ill a few hours later acquiring Septicaemia, high fever, an overnight hospital stay, surgery and lots of medication. Not much concern from Urban Pets. AVOID!!
