I am 22 years old, and I HATE it when...

I am 22 years old, and I HATE it when servers/wait staff ASSUME that because I am young - I will not tip accordingly. Its fascinating to see one person smile and joke with one table, and basically rush through service with another. *TWO THUMBS DOWN* Food? It was absolutely wonderful, and would have been increasingly wonderful if the service complimented the food. Could have been a 190% enjoyable experience! *TWO THUMBS (and toes WAAAY UP*

it was our first time there and it was amazing as soon as we wlaked through the doors like nothing we ever saw,smell,tasted or heard before and our waitress was so great offering her advice on what we should get

I love this place! The food is incredible, I would give it a 15 out of 10 if I could. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. If you like seafood or cajun food, definitely worth a visit!

Horrendous. Waited 45 minutes for appetizers to arrive. Crab cakes "flat" tasting with too much filler/breadcrumbs, and the Oysters Rockefeller couldn't have been worse... 4 small oysters lost in a green soggy mush of overcooked spinach, topped with dried out breadcrumbs which were burnt during broiling. $8.95? My dining partner order ribs for an entree, while I choose another appetizer for my second course. After waiting another hour... the entrees arrived. Two small tubes of squid lost in a tomato sauce that was completely overpowering in flavour ~ like it had been left simmering for far too long and was now more of a "reduction" of tomato paste than a sauce. Item was described as being stuffed with 3 cheeses, chicken and roasted jalapeno peppers. What? Not in my serving, but the squid was so tough and overcooked it was hard to discern any flavours. Completely unedible. My companion's order was large in size, but he stated the ribs were tough and overcooked as well. Adding insult to injury, the service was abysmal. Two appetizers and one main dish and another appetizer took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive. Our server was non-existent. Never have I suffered through such inattention and eternal waiting for such a colossal disappointment. A complete waste of time and money.

We use to go downtown for special dinners... then...

We use to go downtown for special dinners... then we discovered Louisiana's! Everything that we have had from coconut shrimp appetizers to ribs or surf&turf has been amazing! Servers are great and so is the atmosphere. I highly recommend... even to people who are not fond of seafood/fish.
