Ordered their lunch special as usual. Great presentation and service. Meal starts off with hot and our soup with a spring roll as an appetizer. Service was quick, attentive and courteous. Will highly recommend!!
Sometimes a person or a couple cannot determine the level of service or food quality until they have visited a location numerous times. My fiancée and I were recommended to visit Siam Dish because they offered a patio near the lake front. 5 stars for atmosphere. The candles and the cast iron patio ware were authentic. Now the tricky part is a servers mood which makes the dining experience enjoyable. No doubt about it, they greeted us at the entrance with a smile and gestured us to choose a table of our choice. Thoroughout the meal, our server was attentive, we were also doubled served by another waitstaff member who was equally friendly and pleasant. These two can really function like a well oiled machine. The Owner (Lee I believe), even took the time to converse with us about the meal and our interests. As a restaurateur and philanthropist, I enjoy visiting locations that exceed the quality of expectations. 5 stars again for hospitality! Finally the most difficult part of a visit, the food quality. A good friend of mine enjoys yellow curry and without hestitation, my fiancée requested yellow curry with chicken. The meal was phenomenal, not because we are food gurus, but because it's presentation exceeded our expectations. My entree was a noodle dish called Pad See Ew and for the record, this dish can be altered and spiced to your palate's liking. Both my fiancée and I were marveled by the elaborate service and delicious food. The evening was perfect for two people to enjoy their company as if it were our first meet. We recommend Siam Dish to everyone of our couple friends and family members. The owner also mentioned she and her husband opened another location in Hamilton. This past March if my memory is correct. If its anything like Burlington, we'll be visiting again very soon! Keep up the tremendous tesmwork and quality in hospitality. The food was excellent and should be given 6 stars! ( gotta love your fiancee's humour)
Urgh, SIAM DISH, why can't you just be amazing instead of just oh so hit and miss? You are down the street from my house and I want to eat thai food oh so often! I officially have tried 4 times to enjoy various menu items and have now resigned to sticking exclusively with the curries and the fresh spring rolls/. You are skimpy on the vegetables and meat and your noodle dishes are so bland. I have to say the portion of rice you serve with the curry is apalling, It's jst rice, don't be afraid, give me a tad bit more! Isn't freshness part of thai food's philosophy??? Please don't use frozen peas and carrots in your curry dishes, it's like biting styrofoam while enjoying a most delicious bite. Staff is friendly but sometimes they close early if they are not busy (don't say kitchen closed at 8:15 pm please). Step it up but dang it i'll keep ordering the red/green curry.
Siam Dish is certainly an authentic thai experience. Since day one, the service is wonderful and the meals are delicious. I will be returning to Siam Dish on many occasions.
Been here many times and never disappointed. This time we went to try special Taste of Burlington menu . It is $35.- for 2 people . You got soup salad , Entre and also dessert. It is a great deal. The servers are super polite and nice . We love it here and definitely recommend .
