Dimar Shoe Repair

I have been coming here for years and their work is always great and they're very honest people. They guarantee all of their work and have helped me fix many shoes, bags, belts, jackets and more over the years saving me lots of money in the process. A staple in Guelph!

I did not receive great service at Dimar Shoe Repair. I took a pair of leather shoes in to be cleaned and to have new soles put on. The cleaning needed was minimal and I received my shoes back in much worse condition than I left them. They never removed the faint water stains, if anything it looks as if they tried to buff them out which left white marks on the shoes. When they put on the soles, they left black marks on the back of the heels from the soles. When I asked about this I was fed lies.

I have used them several times and have always been pleased.

I have dealt with Dimar Shoe Repair for 25 years now. They have repaired work boots, leather dog leashes, replace the zipper in my leather jacket etc. Price is always reasonable, often I am served while I wait and if not they have always had items ready when they said they would. I Strongly recommend this shop

Dropped in a pair of boots to have the rubber on heels replaced. Excellent reception & short wait time. Young man was super pleasant. Cost was very reasonable. Recommend Dimar every day of the week for all your footwear needs.

I took a pair of dress shoes in for repair. The young gentleman explained how he would repair them so it would look good. He estimated a repair of about $30. I left them for a week as I wasn't in a hurry. When I picked them up he had done an excellent job. I was very pleased. The surprise was that the cost was only $22. I think that was very reasonable and that he prhaps spent less time than anticipated and didn't overcharge. I would recommend them and use their services in the future.

Took a pair of field boots there to have the calf stretched. They did a great job. Fast courteous service.

not on time, poor repair, unusable shoes

Quoted $40, 7 days for re-glueing soles, reattaching (with extensions) of detached straps. Not ready on due date. Knocked $5.00 off quoted price. Cannot fit foot in right shoe which looks like it was woven by a chimpanzee. If they couldn't do it, should have been up front.
