Last night we celebrated another Anniversary at Signatures. Each time we go we are overwhelmed with the incredible food and outstanding service. They seated us in our favourite 'red' room and had it all to ourself...what a easant surprise as it was so quaint and romantic. I want to thank our incredible and very knowledgeable waiter David....he really gave us outstanding service and helped to create a beautiful evening for us...we will be back again for more Anniversaries..and maybe before
Having been here for dinner before, some friends and I decided to try their lunch. This was actually in the part of the restaurant called Bistro Cordonbleu and it is operated by students studying at the Cordonbleu School. Each lunch is a fixed menu, so check the website since the menu constantly changes. One gets a glass of wine and a coffee as part of the fixed price, but you can always order more beverages at an additional price. Each of the 3 courses were excellently prepared. It was all very delicious. The guys working in the kitchen will clearly have great careers as chefs when they graduate. The students waiting on the tables were very polite but they lacked polish. They could have been a wee bit more attentive, but we were basically served well. The atmosphere was very nice and we felt very relaxed. Parking was a bit of a problem and we found it odd that their parking lot was completely full.
If you want a fabulous food experience order the menu de gustation with the wine pairing. It really is an evening's entertainment. You will be expertly served several small dishes that each in its own way will delight you. With the wine pairing, you will always have a great accompaniment. Even though I have a very large appetite, I felt completely sated by the end of the meal.
