Corn Soup

Baltimore Peel and Eat Shrimp
A healthy portion of shrimp sauteed in butter, flavored with garlic, onions, lemon juice and a hint of cayenne pepper sauce. Served with our Caesar seafood dipping sauce.
BBQ Bruschetta
Diced tomatoes, onions, garlic and fresh basil marinated in our own BBQ sauce then baked on a cayenne buttered French loaf with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Corn tortilla chips layered with our own southwestern salsa, cilantro pesto and a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheese.

We slow cook a pork shoulder with Olde Ale and our own spice rub and finish it off with Kansas City BBQ sauce until it is perfectly tender. We serve it hot on a kaiser roll.
Texas Steak on a Bun
Grilled, thinly sliced steak that has been cured in our signature spiced balsamic vinegar marinade. Served on a kaiser roll with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, Swiss cheese and caramelized onions.

I LOVE their food but the service is terrible! Its too bad that such a wonderful place can't keep up with the pace. I waited for over an hour on two seperate ocassions. I went back thinking they were just having a bad night but it I waited another long hour to receive my food.
Best reataurant ever! We were return customers but it was the first time for our out of town guests and they loved it! Can't say enough good things about it.
Best Restaurant in Peterborough! It's never a disapointment. Service was great food was great. The Frites are the best thing ever.
This restaurant used to be the greatest in Peterborough, great food and great service. We waited forever for a simple nacho appetizer and had to watch as a table of 4 that arrived 10 minutes after us, received their food before us. The sauce for the frites used to come in a little stainless steel cup, now it's clearly premeasured in disposable ones instead, mine had dried out spots on the edges. The food was all cold and the po'boy had tomato pieces that had core in the centre. They didn't ask how the food was, I think they knew the answer. The server didn't check on us after leaving the food, I had to go to the bar to get my bill. If the hot belly's folks read this, bring back the good service, fresh hot food is worth waiting for. That salty cold plate of scraps was not hot belly standard. I think that not needing a reservation to get in on a friday speaks volumes for this once great restaurant. Oh yeah, bring back the Creole Chicken. Worst choice to remove from the menu.
Always a busy restaurant, make reservations if you can! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I ALWAYS order the hushpuppies! LEGENDARY.... LIKE ME!
