All of the staff are amazing. I recommend them to everyone looking to switch or trying to find a vet clinic for their new dog or cat.
The best service EVER!! All the staff were so great throughout our visit, but really went above and beyond once the appointment was over. After my cat had a bad reaction to a vaccine, the vet phoned me multiple times the next day to ensure she was OK. When she didn't get better, they brought me in within the hour for a follow up appointment. I was shocked when they told me there was no charge for this appointment. Seriously amazing service and great prices, I'll recommend them to everyone.
I have been a client of HAC for over 15 years; through a couple of dogs and cats. The most recent of which is Annie, our 3 month old golden. I have never had anything but the most professional care and consideration, especially during the final days of my older dog's life. Well done to all!
terrible terrible terrible. dont go here. they made me feel like an inconvenience and were not nice to my older dog. a lady dragged him to the back. someone was yelling at him loudly back there too. dr tawnya looked bored for the appointment.
My family has been taking my pets to Huntington Animal Hospital since I was a little kid. Now, I bring my own pets there because I've had nothing but excellent service. I will admit that they aren't the cheapest place in town, but you wouldn't go to the cheapest doctor in town either. You pay for what you get for. My cat sees Dr. Tanya. She's really good at explaining what's going on so you understand. I would recommend Huntington Animal Hospital to all my friends and family.

Thank you! LIke you, many of our clients have been with us since Derek opened the clinic in 1994. The best part is watching our client's children come in with their own families! It means we've done a great job. To be cheap, we'd have to cut corners - and we're not willing to do that :) We hope to keep up the good work! Thanks again!
Very expensive and the service was awful. A staff was very rude. Never go back again.

Breathdeeply, we're sorry you were frustrated with us. It is very unusual for anyone to complain about our staff and I take the complaint very seriously. Please contact us at any time to discuss your experience - we strive to improve! Veterinary costs are expensive. Many clinics, like ours, have laboratories, radiology, surgical suites, dental services, emergency and treatment areas and a family practice all rolled into one. And our staff are not just there to give vaccines and do exams, but they also are surgeons and nurses that can handle themselves in any of the departments I just mentioned.The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association has published an excellent article called, "Understanding Veterinary Fees in Canada". I cannot post a link here, but if searched, I hope it would be of some help. Again, our apologies. We hope to hear from you again.
Wow! Great people here. It's a fun and family oriented practice! Trust them, they love their work and they really pay attention to each patient. They treat people as if we're all neighbours - they're honest, they'll do their best and treat you like family. Wouldn't dream of taking my dog anywhere else. My dog's picture is framed and on their wall! That's caring!!! Cheers Huntington - keep it up!!!
I am a new client to Huntington Animal Hospital and I was very impressed with my first visit there. To start off the staff is very welcoming and inviting, opening the door for you with a smiling face and place close attention to each specific pets needs. I was fortunate to meet both Doctors and they are terrific. Very patient and kind. Ready to listen and answer each and every question I had no matter how silly. I would highly recommend this clinic.
Dr.Derek is kind and kids and pets just love him! The clinic is fun and family oriented, kids love the toys and Dr.Derek lets them listen to my dogs heart with the stethoscope! I would never go to another vet again! Nothing can top them. Look at their website: www.huntingtonanimalhospital.ca!
I've been a client of Huntington Animal Hospital for over 10 years. During the 10 years plus I have had the fortune to have Dr. Derek , Dawn and their compassionate, professional staff care for my family pets. If anyone has had the heart renching misfortune of having to say goodbye to their pet they know the importance of compassion and genuine care is. I've had to say goodbye to my dog Carley and Mikey my 18 year old cat whom I referred to has my 3rd son. The Huntington staff made it tremendously easier to do so. We have a new addition to the family called Charley our cat and would never consider having anyone else care for her. Thank you to all the staff at Huntington!!!! Shelly Brown
