Jakes is a fun place to go, and definitely the...

Jakes is a fun place to go, and definitely the most casual and youth-oriented in Unionville (which can get a bit stuffy and 'charming') with a great patio out front perfect for enjoying a summer evening away from the city. That being said, the food is mostly standard sports-bar fare and the vibe can get a bit too "college buddies cutting loose". I'll definitely be back, but you need to be in the mood for pitchers and wings. On nice summer days, expect to wait in line for a seat.

The food was great and i was happy to hear that...

The food was great and i was happy to hear that they had boddingtons on tap....I hardly find it anywhere! My wife and hadn't been here before but we came with an old friend of ours and had a great time. The waitress was really sweet and quick with everything......almost. The atmosphrere of the restaurant was so relaxing, especially with the warmth from the mainstreet. Overall, I had a great time and my wife and I have now found another place we would love to come again. Great job!

This is one of the best places my husband and I...

This is one of the best places my husband and I have gone to. If you want great atmosphere, great service and AMAZING food I suggest you try this place out. I am there at least once every weekend and will continue to go. It is always busy and the people are so nice and the food is just phenominal! Down to the SALADS! TRY IT OUT!! I know you will love it!
