great food & service
We were into the restaurant last night and the service was terrible. It was not busy and the waitress tried to ignore us! ( 2 hours just to get a salad and main course) Also, I had the seafood platter and the tilapia tasted musty, it was not good. Definitely not the experience we were expecting.
My husband and I went for our anniversary and what a disappointment. Even though there was ample room in the restaurant to sit, they put everyone in the same corner. It took forever to order and we had to ask for bread to be delivered to munch on while we waited for our meal. Bread tasted old. I had a lime margerita while waiting and it later gave me a stomach ache. The food was disappointing and pricey. I will never go back. I asked my husband how he would rate the experience at Rossinis and he said a 4 out of 10. They put grapes in the salad and on the main course plate. I thought they must have an abundance of grapes. I had stuffed sole and my husband had a pasta/seafood dish. Simply nothing to rave about. I actually had two bites of my sole, a small potato and put my fork down. It was a long wait for a big disappointment.
This place is going downhill....fast My family used to eat here when I was young and the food was great! Since then the owners have spent alot of money upgrading the restaurant (which has the most beautiful restaurant patio in Chatham). Seems like they are skimping on the quality of food. Everytime I go back the food is worse than the time before. Chicken is always dry, pasta is always bland, chef does not know how to properly cook a steak. . I will say that the appetizers/salads are always good, and they have a really great selection of wines, the owners are wonderful, pleasant people, but unfortunatley the main course is always atrocious, and a waste of money
Margaritas were from a powdered mix. Sauce on pasta tasted strange; only ate one quarter of it. No baked potato option. We have been going there for over forty years; this was first disappointing meal. In fairness, there was a small wedding reception going on at the same time and kitchen may have been understaffed.
